The evaluations are a collaboration of independent work by various professionals. The individual writeups are peer reviewed and a summary article integrates the work into a coherent and cohesive reference. Currently there are several evaluations in progress to allow the individuals to define and stabilize their approaches. Subsequently testing will commence where the steels and the hardness of the blades will not be revealed until after all the work has been completeted.
